Yggdrasil Welcomes Mark McGinley as Chief Gaming Officer for Further Enhancement

Mark McGinley has joined Yggdrasil as its Chief Gaming Officer, a significant move set to bolster the game provider‘s recently unified Gaming team.

With a rich experience exceeding 25 years in both B2C and B2B gaming sectors, McGinley brings a wealth of proficiency to Yggdrasil. His robust product, studio, and game development track record is unparalleled. McGinley is known for his commercially driven approach and a deep understanding of the dynamic iGaming market.

McGinley’s most recent role was as CEO of FunFair Games. Before this, he was the Director of Game Studios at Entain and Program Director at RNG Foundry, where he held a pivotal role in equipping independent studios to create innovative and captivating gaming content. His leadership also played an essential part in RNG Foundry’s Senior Management team. Before RNG Foundry, McGinley held senior Game Studio roles at Casumo and Odobo.

Alongside the introduction of a new Chief Gaming Officer, Yggdrasil has also amalgamated its Product & Programs, and Studio verticals into a unified division named Gaming. This organizational shift is intended to enhance transparency, streamline processes, and provide various operational advantages. Some of the expected enhancements include improved product roadmap quality and development process assurance, agile content delivery, increased knowledge sharing across the company, and a sharpened focus on player and operator needs.
