Since 2009, Abu Dhabi has kept its tradition of hosting the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula 1 Festival. Fifteen years later, the festival has become a landmark sports event worldwide.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024 will be held between the 6th and 8th of December and is part of the Formula 1 Grand Prix Season. This event will highlight the final race of the Formula 1 season, making it one of the most anticipated events.
The 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place at the Yas Marina Circuit. The latter is located on Yas Island, which consists of 2,500 hectares of land, and is now a popular tourist location within the UAE. It is located on the east coast of Abu Dhabi and is a 50-minute ride away from Dubai.
The program, which will run for three days between the 6th and 8th of December, is jam-packed with different races. These will take place over 58 laps across 5,281 kilometres. The highlight of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is definitely the night-time setting of the race racks, which are flooded with lights against the dark night of the quaint surroundings.
The event is always highly competitive, with renowned teams and drivers competing for the championship title. The December weekend will also host other support races, mainly from Formula 2 and Formula 3 Championships.
Excellent entertainment and leisure facilities are always available at such events. Off-track, people can enjoy several parties and concerts.
